City of Decorah Archery Range Grand Opening!

Decorah, IA (March 24, 2025) – Decorah Parks and Recreation invites you to celebrate the Archery Range Grand Opening on Saturday, April 5 from 12-3 PM at Will Baker Athletic Fields.

Join us for food and refreshments, the inaugural “first arrow” by Mayor Lorraine Borowski, participate in an opportunity to win a Grizzly Drifter 12 cooler and gift cards.

Special thanks to Sam Lewey (Toppling Goliath) and Andrew Nielsen (Xpedition Archery and Anthem Archery) for teaming up on this endeavor with Decorah Parks and Recreation staff.

This event signifies community involvement and partnerships that contributed to the project.  We look forward to dedicating this amenity to the community for recreation, programming and engagement with the outdoors.
