Arbor Day Tree Planting Event

The City of Decorah Tree Board invites the community to participate in an Arbor Day tree planting event on Sunday, April 27th. Volunteers will help plant eight to ten trees along boulevards throughout the city. Basic planting supplies, including shovels, tarps, and pruners, will be provided. Before planting begins, the Tree Board and City Forester will lead a brief workshop on proper planting techniques and tree care after planting.
